7/22/08 - It has been a while since my last post! My goal is to update this page once a week or more. In the past week I tried a new sushi restaurant on Fayetteville Street Mall called Sona. When I first got there around 7pm it was not very croweded at all. I thought, wow, this place may not make it. When I left, after having some great food and great service the place was FULL. It was good to see more nightlife, especially on a Tuesday, in downtown Raleigh. Of course, Raleigh Times is always a great choice, I walked by there on the way to my car, and the street and bar was packed.

4/23/2008 Good morning - Wow, we've been having some rainy weather lately - good for our drought!  I don't know that we say Raleigh is still in a drought since Falls Lake is full. The last couple of weeks have been busy ones. New sales include 154 Ryan's Run in Youngsville and 2202 Hopeton, Bedford Subdivision, Raleigh, NC. 4/8/2008 A lot has happened since I last updated this page!  Falls Lake is full. After over a year of Raleigh having stringent water restrictions they were relaxed yesterday morning. With Falls Lake, Raleigh's main water source, full, landscapers, builders and homeowners sighs of relief were heard all around the area. Although we are still under Stage 1 restrictions, there is more rain in the forecast assuring that Raleigh and the surrounding towns will have water well into 2009. In spite of the rainy weekend my open houses had a good turnout and contracts were flying! Contracts came in on 1212 Southgate, Raleigh, NC and is now SOLD. Additional sales this weekend included my listing at 3044 Dogwood, Raleigh, NC, 108 Bighorn Circle, Cary, NC ( sold in less than a week ), and with two more contracts still under negotiations, it may be the most sales in a three day period since I started in real estate in 1996. 4/7/2008 Stage 1 Restrictions for Raleigh - All Raleigh water system customers are under Stage 1 water conservation measures. The municipalities of Garner, Knightdale, Raleigh, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Wendell and Zebulon comprise this water system

4/1/08 Sorry it has been so long since my last post - it has been a crazy week and weekend. Two homes under contract. 6205 Brielson in Raleigh and 112 Bay in Cary - both great homes and happy buyers. A new listing hit the market today 108 Bighorn Circle in Cary. If you want something truly unique this is the property. It backs to the 310 acre Bond Park. 3/24/2008 I hope everyone had a great Easter Weekend. I spent most of the day Saturday at my mom's gift shop, Barbara's Cottage, in Youngsville, NC. ( Shamless plug ) - It was a beautiful day along with Easter Sunday. I showed property to two new clients in the NC State Area of Raleigh. There are still good deals out there for 2-3 Bedroom townhomes and condos just minutes from downtown Raleigh. Today is going to be another busy day - I love it. A walk thru around 9am today, showing property in Garner, NC after that and a closing at 3:30pm.  Check out my active listings section of the site - I've added all the details for 3221 Landing Falls, Raleigh NC. 3/21/2008 - Good Friday - I hope everyone has a great day and weekend. This week has been a busy one. I have two new listings on the market. One is a great town home in North Raleigh in Brook Forest. 3/18/2008 - Good morning - Another beautiful winter today in Raleigh, NC. If you consider 60+ degrees in Winter beautiful - I do. This morning I'll be at our Tuesday sales meeting. After that I'm off to show property in North Raleigh and then a home Inspection with one of my clients on their new construction home. Closing for this one is only about 2 weeks away.
